She has established an incredible allotment and freely shares produce with all her neighbours. She has also managed the restoration of an allotment site to ensure neighbours can enjoy the space. She has given out sunflower and strawberry plants during lockdown and regularly leaves vegetables on local doorsteps.

Sue volunteers on the village charity committee and has overseen the restoration of two cottages rented to those who need them most. She welcomes new neighbours and checks on the elderly or lonely. She also takes neighbours who have no transport for hospital appointments.

For VE Day she carried out a socially distanced tea party for her road which was really appreciated. She cares about everyone around her and will do what she can to boost morale in these difficult times.
